When I need to get some shopping done! Great shopping center.
Finally got some quarters from the customer service desk today after trying a gazillion times and being told "no!". Even though I shop there (?)
Didn't have items I was looking for, however the staff member was courteous and helpful when trying to look for them. 5 and Below
The amount of stores here is astounding. It is a very full shopping plaza. It has everything you could think of and more, and it’s very conveniently located. Whether is food, clothes, makeup, home decor, or anything else, you can find it here. Side note: The Kroger does in fact have a gas station, btw. It’s just located .6 miles down the road.
Alps Village in Athens, GA, is a cool spot for shopping and dining. It's got a nice mix of stores and restaurants, so there's something for everyone. The atmosphere is laid-back, making it a pleasant place to spend some time. The restaurants are definitely a highlight. Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or a sit-down meal, you'll find plenty of options. I've had some really good meals here, and there's a decent variety to choose from. Shopping is pretty convenient too. The stores offer a good range of products, and it's easy to find what you need. Plus, everything is well-maintained and clean, which is always a plus. Parking is hassle-free with plenty of spaces available. The overall layout of Alps Village is easy to navigate, so you can get in and out without any trouble. Overall, Alps Village is a great spot to visit if you're in Athens. Whether you're running errands or looking for a place to eat, it's got you covered. I'll definitely be coming back!
Big place, well stocked, friendly staff. I would suggest they should keep aware of so many small carts in the parking lot. They should collect them more often. I brought mine from a lady that was through with it. There were no more inside the entrance...
This is a good kroger, with a large selection of items, and the produce stays reasonably well stocked and seems mostly fresh. They close at 11 pm, despite being listed as 24 hours. Also, the aisles are a bit narrow, so if multiple people are walking through, it can feel crowded. There is also a large parking lot, and it is well lit. This complaint isn't for this store in particular, I guess, but rather Kroger as a whole, but they changed the self check out registers to conveyer belts, and that was exceedingly frustrating because they would lock up and reverse if I didn't place the item I'd scanned on the belt fast enough. The staff member overseeing the self-checkouts was very friendly, helpful, and responded quickly, but she had to assist me like 7 times; almost every other item I scanned locked me up. She was bouncing around from register to register, helping others with the same issue. If the scan process is that fickle and requires that much precision, perhaps trained employees should do it. It took me almost 45 minutes just to check out.
The parking lot floods every time it rains - ankle-deep or more. Lunchtime is a disaster due to lack of parking spaces (Kroger gets so busy). The new Five Below is awesome. I like the pet store - such good variety and they have really friendly customer service. Overall, good shopping center.
